Kari Marsh is the Gifted and Talented Coordinator for Bayfield Intermediate and Primary School and coordinates programming and evaluation services for gifted and talented students. The programming for the 23/24 school year includes:
Student evaluation for giftedness based on student referrals and universal screenings
Advanced Learning Plan (ALP) Goal Setting
Pull-out Groups focused on ALP’s, social and emotional lessons, gifted-focused discussions
Advanced Math Intervention
Students scoring at the 85th percentile or higher on NWEA
Flexible Group based on student need
Advanced ELA Interventions
Students scoring at the 85th percentile or higher on NWEA
Flexible Group based on student need
Teacher Support with Core Curriculum
Differentiation support
Planning support
Parent Support
Family nights specific to gifted students and their families
