About Me

Hello!  My name is Jodi DeHondt, and I am a proud 4th Grade Teacher at the amazing Bayfield Intermediate School! This is my fourth year teaching in the great state of Colorado.  Before moving to Bayfield in 2022, I taught elementary school in Texas for twenty-one years, and before that I taught elementary school in Louisiana for six years. That's a total of thirty-one years!  I truly love working with kids!

 

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my fabulous family.  My husband, Danny, and I have two adult children, Sarah and Paul, who both live in Texas. We also have two fur-babies.  We have a French Bulldog named, "The Dude," and a greyhound/blue heeler mix named, "Shug."  Our last name means "The Hound" in Dutch, so it is really fortunate that we love dogs so much!

 

I am so happy that my life path brought me to Bayfield, Colorado and Bayfield School District! I am looking forward to a great year at BIS!  Go Wolverines!
